Masks:
All OCCT shows and activities starting May, 2022 masks will be optional complying with the lifted mask mandate in the state of Oregon. However, OCCT reserves the right to re-mandate masks within our premises at any time.
Individuals who aren't comfortable complying with the possible reinstation of masks are advised not participate in or attend OCCT activities for the foreseeable future.
In the event of mask reinstation performer's will wear a "clear mask pro" (pictured above) for rehearsals and performances, unless otherwise advertised.
CLASSES
Winter Classes:
The Actors Workshop
Wednesdays | 7:45-8:45pm
Grades 6-12
Do you have a child who is interested in theater but doesn’t know where to start? This workshop is the perfect place to start! Students will explore acting basics, improvisation and audition preparation. They'll learn how to think on their feet and use their whole body to communicate thoughts and emotions! Students will learn how to select and prepare a monologue which will be featured at the end of term showcase for friends and family!
Play Production: Peter Pan
Wednesdays | 5:30-7:30pm
CAST (grades 3-12)
Students will engage in a non-musical one act production with all the fan favorite characters we know and love! The first class session will be dedicated to the audition and casting process. All students are guaranteed a role in the cast! The remaining course sessions students will learn blocking and basic performance and acting techniques in preparation for their showcase performance! This will be a fully produced and costumed one act production!
ASSISTANT DIRECTORS (grades 6-12)
Assistant directors (AD’s) will engage with the two directors to help facilitate and guide the class student performers through staging and preparation of the production! AD students will also be working with the light and sound boards and learning set movement. At the end of the term there will be a showcase for friends and family!
Classes Refund Policy:
Participants are eligible for a 50% refund (minus a $40 processing fee) if they withdraw from the class, at least, seven working days (Monday-Friday) prior to the first class. Participants must contact OCCE prior to the stated deadline to receive the refund offer. Most refunds are issued as a credit to the credit card on file or mailed. The refund process may take up to two weeks. Refund requests following the deadline stated above will not be accepted.
